Mount Damavand Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Pick up
Pick up at 8 AM from the lobby of your hotel, drive to Polour village; the point we start our adventure, transporting back packing by mules and then trekking to Gosfand Sara camping, rest and have dinner, O/N
Day 2: Climbing Day
After breakfast, climbing to Bargah Sevoum (third station) hut in about 4200 m, Camping and rest
Day 3: Acclimatization
Today we have Acclimatization (or bad weather reservation) day. Climbing to the peak in summer is technically easy but physically a difficult hike, the main challenge of the ascend is acclimatization and the fact that the air gets thinner with less oxygen as you gain altitude, so to increases you chance of success and decrease the risk of AMS and to enjoy a safe climb to the Summit, it is vital to become accustomed to this new conditions.
Day 4: Summit Day
Waking up early morning, climbing slowly and as a team, reach summit, a short stop for visiting Damavand Caldera, Sulfur Fumaroles, landscapes, and taking photo, then return to advanced camp
Day 5: Descending and Transferring to Tehran
After having breakfast, transferring back packing by mules, until the start of point, then drive and transferring to Tehran
